do the research

identity

This is a project aimed toward the younger students in the graphic design program at Champlain College. It is meant to urge them to give their work a few more minutes of real consideration to try to lessen the number of instances where design is shared without enough attention being paid to how it could offend. It is our job as designers to know our audience and foresee potential negative consequences so that we may correct these issues before they become public disasters.

This campaign asks students to simply spend a few minutes when they wouldn't actually be doing anything else, like waiting for a file to save or for the printer to load, to do something as small as a Google search, as it could make a huge difference.
